Melissa and Graham joyfully request the pleasure of your company as they join in marriage in the presence of family and friends and celebrate under october's harvest moon.
Parking
There are two entrances off of Broadway. The first parking lot is huge, but there *may* be a $5 parking fee. You can park alongside the street on Broadway for free. From either of these parking locations, you will have a short walk up to the venue. There is a second parking lot, also free, that is much smaller and closer to the venue. If you are taking Lyft/Uber/taxi, have them drop you off in the smaller parking lot (using the address above) and you'll see a sign to the ceremony. Check out the map below:

The wedding festivities will be held at the Lake Temescal Beach House in Oakland. Grab a drink and appetizer upon arrival at happy hour and get ready to celebrate! The dress code is festive/casual. The happy hour and ceremony will be outdoors (moving indoors for the feast) and we expect the temperature to be around 70F upon arrival and to cool to 60F by the time we must leave, which is 10 PM-ish.

This isn't hosted (so grab some free roadies while you can), but it's a space for more drinks and laughs. They do have wine and cocktails in addition to Berkeley's largest selection of craft beer. We'll Lyft there after we get booted from the venue a bit after 10 PM. It's a 10 minute ride from the wedding venue. Maybe we'll see you there!
TRAVEL
A block of rooms is reserved at the Oakland Marriott City Center for a standard room rate of $149/night. Use this link to book at the special rate by 9/7/17. The Marriott City Center is in downtown Oakland, which is close to all forms of public transportation, including BART, the "subway" which runs to San Francisco. Renting a car is not necessary, as Lyft and Uber are readily available in Oakland and around the entire Bay Area.
If you choose Airbnb or VRBO, we recommend staying in Berkeley, Emeryville, or in the Oakland neighborhoods of Temescal, Piedmont, Lakeshore, or Rockridge.
